Recreational Classes

CORE TUMBLING PROGRAM
Our Core Tumbling Program is designed to build strong, confident athletes through safe, structured skill progression at every level. From foundational movement and body control to advanced tumbling passes, each core class focuses on proper technique, strength development, and consistency.

Classes are led by experienced, certified coaches who emphasize correct body positions, controlled landings, and athlete safety while building confidence and work ethic. Athletes are placed in the appropriate level based on skill readiness to ensure steady progress and long-term success.

Core Tumbling classes meet once per week for one hour and serve as the foundation for all tumbling advancement within our program.

CORE TUMBLING CLASSES

BRONZE TUMBLING  (Beginner)

Length:  60 Minutes

Ages:  (Ages 6+)


Bronze Tumbling is our beginner-level core class designed to build a strong foundation of body control, strength, and basic tumbling technique. Athletes will focus on learning correct shapes, safe movement patterns, and confidence on the floor before advancing to higher-level skills.

This class emphasizes proper progression and technique to ensure athletes develop skills safely and correctly.

SILVER TUMBLING (Intermediate)

Length:  60 Minutes

Ages:  (Ages 6+)

Silver Tumbling is our intermediate-level core class focused on building strong connections, increased strength, and confidence through inverted skills. Athletes will work on developing smooth transitions, body control, and correct technique while preparing for higher-level tumbling.

This class continues to emphasize safe progressions and consistent technique as athletes move from basic tumbling into walkovers and round-off development.

GOLD TUMBLING  (Advance)

Length:  60 Minutes

Ages:  (Ages 6+)

Gold Tumbling focuses on developing strong fundamentals in back handspring technique. Athletes build strength, confidence, and proper body control through structured drills, shaping exercises, and safe progressions. Emphasis is placed on correct takeoff, hand placement, body alignment, and controlled landings.

This level prioritizes safe skill development and consistent execution while preparing athletes for future connected tumbling skills.

  • Gold 1 Skills

    Focus: Standing Back Handspring

    • Standing back handspring fundamentals
    • Proper takeoff and jump mechanics
    • Correct hand placement and arm position
    • Tight body alignment and hollow shape
    • Safe landings and body control
    • Strength and shaping drills specific to back handspring development

    Important Note:

    Gold 1 is dedicated exclusively to learning the standing back handspring. Athletes do not work connected passes or combinations in this level.

  • Gold 2 Skills

    Focus: Connecting Back Handsprings

    • Round-off back handspring
    • Back walkover to back handspring
    • Series back handsprings
    • Specialty tumbling passes ending with a back handspring
    • Improved hurdle mechanics
    • Strong rebounds and transitions
    • Speed, power, and consistency in connected skills

    Progression Goal:

    Prepare athletes for advanced tumbling passes and entry into Platinum Tumbling.

PLATINUM TUMBLING

(Elite)

Length:  60 Minutes

Ages:  (Ages 6+)


Platinum Tumbling is our advanced-level core class for athletes who have mastered back handspring series and are ready to progress to elite-level tumbling. This class focuses on advanced tumbling skills, precise technique, and strong body control, building strength, confidence, and consistency for high-level passes.

Athletes will work on a variety of advanced skills including rotations, flips, and twists. Coaches emphasize proper body alignment, technique, and safe progressions, ensuring athletes develop the strength, control, and confidence needed for complex tumbling and competitive routines.

Cheer Tumble

Length:  60 Minutes

Classes are split by ages levels

Cheer Tumble is designed for athletes learning and improving both cheer and tumbling skills. This class teaches all the essential components needed for school, recreational, or all-star cheer while combining tumbling and cheer training in one class. Athletes get the best of both worlds: technique, performance, and confidence in both areas.

    Second half of class – Tumbling Skills:

    • Review and improve current tumbling skills
