MEET OUR TEAM

Tony and Crystal Green are a dynamic couple who proudly embrace their faith in Christ Jesus while dedicating their lives to mentorship, leadership, and excellence in cheerleading and business.

Crystal Green brings over 30 years of experience in cheerleading and tumbling, having cheered from junior high through college at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now UL Lafayette), where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Her passion for the sport led her to coach the Ragin' Cajuns cheerleaders, playing a pivotal role in the development of the university’s spirit program. She also became a staff member for the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA), gaining valuable insight that shaped her ability to train and inspire young athletes.

Her career highlights include leading the cheer team to its first national competition at UCA, serving as Cheer Coach and later Spirit Group Advisor at UL Lafayette, coaching numerous high school cheer teams, and currently working as a consultant for university, high school, and middle school cheer programs. Additionally, Crystal has judged major national cheerleading competitions, evaluating elite performances across the country.

Anthony Green, III is a dedicated leader with a background in Business Management, bringing over a decade of experience in retail management and law enforcement. With a strong foundation in leadership and operations, he plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and staff management for their ventures.



Together, Tony and Crystal combine their expertise, passion, and faith to create a positive impact on the next generation of athletes and coaches instilling discipline, confidence, and a Christ-centered mindset in everything they do.

Coach Hannah been with Alstarz Cheer Academy since day one in 2001, starting as an athlete and now serving as our amazing gym manager. Working out of both our Thibodaux and Larose locations, Hannah is a proud Christian, mom of two, and passionate coach. She loves teaching recreational classes, competition teams, and private tumbling lessons while helping kids grow in their skills and faith. 

Cherie has been a dedicated member of the ALSTARZ team since 2016 and serves as our Office Manager and Accounts Receivable Specialist. With an associate’s degree in Office Technology, she helps support daily operations and keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes. Cherie also assists with coordinating cheer gear and apparel for local school cheer and dance teams.



She previously worked in Accounts Receivable at Vidrine Office Supply. Cherie is a proud wife and mom of two (ages 21 and 18) and has also been a competitive cheer parent for the past 10 years, giving her a great understanding of the cheer community and the families we serve.

Abby currently serves as the SLHS Competition Coach and the GMMS Cheer Coach, continuing to foster local talent. Beyond the sidelines, she is employed by Varsity Spirit as a Varsity Event Administration Camp Manager. In this role, she manages premier cheer and dance camps across the country for industry-leading brands, including UCA, NCA, UDA, and NDA. Her dual background in psychology and high-level athletics allows her to manage complex event logistics while prioritizing the growth and well-being of every athlete.



With over 25 years of experience as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and more than 16 years of coaching expertise, she brings a unique blend of behavioral insight and athletic excellence to the spirit industry. Her coaching career began at Golden Meadow Middle School, where she led the Lionettes Dance Team from 2007 to 2014, followed by an eight-year tenure as the South Lafourche High School (SLHS) Varsity Cheer Coach from 2015 to 2023. A career highlight includes leading the 2020 SLHS Varsity team to a prestigious Top 5 finish at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship.

Tiaha is a proud mother of two and stepmother of three, as well as a proud “Hunni” to three amazing boys. She brings a warm heart, a love for her family, and a genuine passion for being part of the ALSTARZ family.

Tiaha has had an amazing experience with ALSTARZ and is excited to continue being part of an organization that encourages athletes, builds confidence, and creates a positive environment for families. She looks forward to supporting our athletes and helping make their ALSTARZ experience just as amazing!

Coach Brooklyn brings over 10 years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for cheerleading to the ALSTARZ family. Originally from North Carolina, Brooklyn has been involved in cheer since the age of 5 and is excited to continue sharing her love for the sport with the next generation of athletes.

Brooklyn is currently completing her degree in Athletic Administration, with minors in Sports Psychology and Kinesiology. She is passionate about helping athletes develop both mentally and physically while building confidence, discipline, and life skills that extend beyond the gym.



As a coach, Brooklyn strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where every athlete feels supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Coach Emoni brings over five years of coaching experience and a lifelong passion for athletics to the ALSTARZ family. Before discovering cheerleading, she spent six years as a gymnast before transitioning to cheer, where she has continued to grow and compete for more than 10 years.



Emoni was a four-year member of the Nicholls State University cheerleading team and proudly served as team captain. With cheerleading being a major part of her life for more than half of her years, Emoni is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love for the sport with the next generation of athletes.

As a coach, Emoni enjoys helping athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and discover the same love for cheerleading that has made such an impact on her life.

Coach Meadow is a passionate coach with eight years of cheerleading experience, having cheered through middle school, high school, and college. She is the Coordinator of our Recreational Class Program, where she ensures athletes receive a fun and structured learning experience. Meadow is also a Tumble Coach and Team Coach, dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential by promoting skill development and personal growth.

With a love for the sport and a commitment to her athletes, Meadow strives to create a positive and encouraging environment where every cheerleader can grow, achieve their goals, and succeed in their cheer journey. She is excited to bring her expertise and enthusiasm to help athletes succeed and thrive at ACA!

Coach Lamar brings over 20 years of cheer experience to ALSTARZ Academy! With a background as an athlete at every level—middle and high school, college, All-Star (Levels 2 through 7), and even competing at the World Championships—Lamar has truly done it all. He is also a professional cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints, bringing elite-level experience to our program.

A Collegiate All-American, NCA College Champion, and NCA All-Star Champion, Lamar’s passion for cheer extends far beyond his own achievements. As a coach, he has led teams to victory at Nationals across All-Star, High School, Middle School, and College levels. With over 12 years of coaching experience, Lamar is a true expert in tumbling, stunting, and team coaching, making him an invaluable part of the ALSTARZ family!

Coach Ava brings eight years of cheerleading experience to the ALSTARZ family. She loves helping athletes set goals, learn new skills, and celebrate each achievement along the way.



Ava especially enjoys watching her athletes gain confidence as they accomplish skills they have been working toward. She is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where athletes can grow, build confidence, and develop a love for cheerleading.!

Coach Ashley has been a valuable member of the Alstarz team, bringing her expertise and passion for cheer to everything she does! 

She has worked with the Thibodaux Middle School cheer team for the past two years, helping young athletes grow and shine. At ACA, Ashley plays a key role by teaching Game Day classes and helping coach Team Eagles, where she inspires athletes to reach their full potential

When she’s not coaching, Ashley is a dedicated mentor who brings energy, creativity, and heart to the mat. 

Coach Jaylynn is a passionate and dedicated coach who has been sharing her love for cheer and tumbling for the past 10 years. As a recreational and team coach at ALSTARZ, she brings energy, experience, and a positive spirit to every class she teaches!

Jaylynn is a proud graduate of South Lafourche High School, where she was a captain of the varsity cheer team. At ALSTARZ, she coaches our tumble classes and team athletes, helping them grow in skill, confidence, and character. She is passionate about creating a supportive team environment where athletes feel encouraged to challenge themselves and reach their full potential.

With a strong faith in God and a genuine love for the sport, Jaylynn is excited to continue encouraging and supporting the next generation of ALSTARZ athletes!

Coach Kylie is a student at Thibodaux High School and a dedicated member of the Thibodaux High Colorguard. Her passion for performance began in middle school, where she was a cheerleader for Thibodaux Middle School.

Kylie finds great joy in sharing her love for cheer with others and values the opportunity to mentor younger athletes at ACA, where she enjoys fostering teamwork, confidence, and lasting connections.

Coach Brailyn has been part of ACA since the age of 4, growing through tumbling classes and competing on multiple teams. She is currently a member of the Central Lafourche High School Varsity Cheer Team.

At ACA, Brailyn coaches tumbling classes, assists with our competitive teams, and brings her energy and enthusiasm to birthday parties, Parents’ Night Out, and other special events.

Her passion for cheer and love for working with athletes make her a valued part of our ACA family.

Coach Brooklyn joins the coaching staff at Alstarz Cheer Academy for the 2026 season, bringing over two decades of passion for cheer and tumbling. Having grown up in an in-home daycare, she developed a natural heart for working with children and understands the importance of creating an environment where athletes feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.

Outside of coaching, Brooklyn is deeply committed to helping every athlete—regardless of age or experience—reach their next breakthrough both on and off the mat. She believes in building confidence through consistency, positivity, and hard work, and loves being part of each athlete’s journey as they learn, progress, and succeed.
